September 30, 2025 – The Internet Society (ISOC) Kazakhstan Chapter successfully conducted its 2025 General Meeting today, bringing together 37 members to review the Chapter’s progress and conduct Board elections.
The meeting provided an opportunity for members to engage in productive discussions about our ongoing initiatives and future directions for promoting Internet development and digital inclusion in Kazakhstan.
Board Election Results
During the election proceedings, no alternative candidates for Board positions were proposed by the membership. As a result, the existing Board was re-elected to continue their work for the upcoming term. This outcome reflects the members’ confidence in the current Board’s leadership and strategic vision.
The re-elected Board members are:
Executive Director: Talgat Nurlybayev
Chapter Officer: Daulet Bakytov
Chapter Officer: Viktor Pyagai
The re-elected Board will continue to guide the Chapter in implementing its mission to support the open development, evolution, and use of the Internet for the benefit of all people throughout Kazakhstan.
